“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.
Monday January 18, 2016 celebrates the birthday of one of Atlanta’s most revered and honored natives, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King’s dream was for people of all races to coexist in harmony. We are proud to say that we are upholding that dream here at WAX.
WAX is within walking distance from Dr. King’s birth place as well as his place of Ministry and his final resting place in the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery. Next time you’re at WAX, take a little extra time and reacquaint yourself with some of Atlanta’s local heritage.
